Can anyone tell me if the Canon 1.75x teleconverter is equal in performance and quality to the Olympus 1.7x teleconverter? Anyone has experience with this? The reason I am asking, I bought the Canon one for my Olympus 4000-Z camera, and so far so good, except at some occassions I have hard time focusing it. Is there any difference between these two lenses? Thanks for any advice.

I had that teleconverter and used it on my Sony 707, it was a decent lens, but the sony teleconverter was better (more expensive also)

I also had a few focusing problems with it on the 707 as well.....

but Im not really sure about the olympus one you are asking about

I'm using the Canon 1.75 converter on my G3 and haven't noticed any focusing problems. I don't know about the Olympus lense or how either of these would affect the Olympus C-4000Z camera.
