I know, Jason, it must be tough. I mean it's been TWO MONTHS since you've ribboned!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, no matter how many ribbons you earn it always feels like it will be your last. |

Why? Why do you feel like it is the last? If I win a ribbon, I would be opening Pandora’s Box, breaking Devil’s leg, and get much more after that and never think it would be my last... unless if I quit DPC!
DrAchoo needs a little pepper to sneeze I think :)

No, I'm not saying that out of some sense of false modesty. I know I'm a good photographer. Still, having won, I know the "perfect storm" that needs to occur to win the blue. Although I think there are a few people on here (Scalvert, De Sousa, and Larus come to mind) who can almost ribbon at will, I cannot.
Anyway, we shall see. I hadn't even admitted to being in this challenge until earlier and now we're talking like the blue is some foregone conclusion for me. I NEVER count on things to work out that way. Last good example was the Sci-Fi challenge where I had a 7+ in only 93 entries. I was confident of a Top 5 finish and I came in 10th... |

Sci-Fi challenge was a beautiful challenge, In rhythm nobody declare 7+ but I think that 6.60 is only for the top ten. At this time i am on 6.46 I hope in a top 25. |

I know that I commented on DOF in a couple of the photos. Maybe even though the DOF was intentional, maybe it was not appropriate for your shot or did not do what you intended it to? |
Maybe that's my problem, lol. I always understood DOF and focus to be two different things. Either way, I love my shot and it's sucking wind, lol! |

Infact, I have the same problem in the stones challenge. I am sure that my intentional focus and my intentional DOF could be not appreciate by the voters and probably i search another shot for the contest. |

This part is very true. But kiwiness is equally talented but I do not see him on main page too often. But then there are many very good photographers we never see them on main page. |

I predicted 5.6, Becky-Lee predicted 6. I guess I should listen to her more often! (but don't pm her and tell her I said that...) |

Looks like I jinxed myself, not you, Jason! No longer my 3rd-highest, but maybe the scrubber will be kind.
