That would be pretty whack. that's a 22X zoom. |

Thats kinda what I was thinking..but she sounded pretty convinced said she read it on DP review or something..*shrugs*.
All i've found is the 80-400.. (which is my next one) .. and the 18-200..
Who'd need another lens if it went from 18-400.. *be a nice option tho* lol |

Really doubt it. People already complain about distortion in the 18-200 (however minimal it is). Nikon just released (in NikonTime) that lens anyways, they're not going to do anything to undercut it's sales while it's still so popular.
The only recent releases have been the Tamron 18-250, and the Sigma 18-200OS AFAIK. |

I'd guarantee that such a lens wouldn't be the sharpest thing in the world.

Nikon 18-200 VR + 2x adapter, giving someone the effective range of 18-400.
When Nikon makes an 12-400mm VR f/1.0 then I'll be switching brands.
;)

Effictive range of if you like pulling it off and and switching each time. Real effective range while in use would be 36-400 |

It comes with a Ford F150 and a steel monopod welded into place on top of the cab.

The Fusion is a great car btw, too bad ford didnt design or build it. Mazda did which yes is a part for ford. But the sucess of the design in light of the rest of their current line up shows the real differences lol!

sorry bout all that - we will be nice now...
I haven't heard a thing about this new lens, but I really doubt it is a reality. I really like the 18-200 but it is limited with its fstops at 200mm and it's not as super sharp as I would like. It's great for the all around stuff - and pretty darn good for Street Photography! by the way...

canon has the 28-300 IS L lens...not cheap, not light, not constant aperture, but nice all the same. The used to make a 35-350 L lens.
