| Searched and didn't find anything so hopefully this hasn't been posted before. Got sent a DVD marketing piece on the Volkswagon EOS, not sure why exactly but has anyone else seen this? This has got to be the oddest thing I've ever seen. It's a sort of reality makeover show or something featuring the car? And naming the car EOS, I'd be annoyed if I was Canon. They have a lot invested in the EOS brand. What if the car explodes in rear end collisions or falls apart after a year? You certainly wouldn't want that to stick in people's minds when they go to buy a camera. Just odd all around. |

EOS is not a brand or a brand name its a system.
So what about the greek god EOS, What about EOS Airlines?, Here let me grab wikipedia and see what they have...
European Optical Society
Eos, a fictional planet within the Star Wars universe
EosTV, a death-themed German television channel
Eos Press, a publisher of card games and role-playing games
EOS (operating system), a supercomputer operating system in the 1980s
Earth Observing System of NASA
Looks like EOS might mean something in german, and VW might have more right to it then Canon a japanese company ever will lol!

| It also cant get any worse then the VW IROC, concept which is really the Sirocco. aka sIROCco. |
