It's harder than it looks to do it well.

I like it but for me i think it has too many shots. I am used to time lapse moving a little faster. it looked more like slow motion video. very ncie effort and a pretty good first try i would say.

never mind jaded_youths repsonse

I agree with Elvis.

Very cool. If I may suggest, the first half is only interesting for the clouds moving, so you can probably get rid of it. The second part, the one when the lights start to turn on, is much more interesting.

i totally agree with srdanz. its really cool but the first part is all about clouds...ehh..and may it be a pet-peeve but level your tripod. if it doesnt have a bubble level built in you can always level by using the bottom of your frame and line it up with the top of a building, or a row of windows or whatever...

Thanks for your comments.

I was at the Top of the Rock and they don't allow tripods, so my camera was resting on a bag on nuts on a wall - and I could hardly see through the viewfinder.

I was trying to getting the clouds going red as the sun set, but the sky wasn't having any of it that evening.

Good that you think it should go faster - pushing the cable release every three seconds did get a little boring after a while!
