I was wondering about the Natural Light scores. Shouldn't Librodo be tied for 2nd and Elsapo be moved up to 3rd place ribbon? Librodo and Scarbrd had the same score. Or am I looking at it wrong. I tried to look up in the forums if anyone else had mentioned this but I didn't find anything. So I apologize if this is a repeat. |

The results are calculated to more decimal places than shown. |

As the one in 2nd place, I wondered the same thing.
1. My guess is that while Librodo and I have the same score, my entry had more votes. SC can comfirm if they like.
2. Even if Librodo and I tied and both had red ribbons, Elsapo would still be 4th. There would be no 3rd place winner. The only way 4 ribbons could be awarded is if there was a tie for third. |

Not to long ago there was a tie for 3rd. The front page had 4 shots on it. 1st, 2nd and 2 3rd places. |

Seems that is not the case here. I quickly worked it out, and the scores are exactly the same regardless of decimal places. They both come out to 7 + 1/11. |

I guess I am incorrect about the number of votes being a tie breaker.

I'll put in a ticket with the SC. |

Right, because who's to say which is more important: more total votes or more higher votes?

Well, my logic was that with a score in the 7s, there are more possiblities to bring the score down than up. Any additional votes that score 1-7 will bring the average down, only votes 8-10 will make it higher.
I'm sure the logic is flawed, but that's what I was thinking looking at the results. |

I guess you only get four front-page images if the tie is for third.
