Hey! I resemble that remark! 
Photosig isn't narrow minded in that they allow photography that is downright pornographic in nature, but the commenters over there are brutal in ways that DPCers have never dreamed of. So, if you're thinking we're narrow minded and immature because they simply don't like your pictures, what are you going to do when you get a three thumbs down and comments that say, "This pictuer sucks balls! Put your camera on eBay right now!" Plus, if you want to upload a picture over there knowing it sucks, but you want criticism to help make it better or how to improve, you're still going to get rude comments with thumbs down. The upside to Photosig is that they don't have "Challenges," so you can upload whatever you want whenever you want and people rate it. But, like I said, you might not like your ratings.

| Just to make this guy feel better, Im going to vote 10s on every challenge just so he feels that he is being recognized and applauded...FOREVER. |

i've recently started entering occassionally at ff, just for the heck of it. 12 enteries in a challenge, you get maybe 15 votes and 1 or 2 comments. AND the same "narrowmindedness" that is here. And if you ask a question in the forums, it may take a day or two to get a response because they get like 5 posts a day, it seems like.
Like someone else said, in all honesty and sincerity, if you can find your utopic photo site on the Internet, good luck and let us know!
DPC is not perfect, BUT I have no doubt it is the best on the 'net.

| I was beat to the punch there but that was my thought also, we (as imperfect humans) take a shot that we feel tells a story and others don't see it, so the knee jerk reaction is to take offense. I personally think that Steve made this thread strictly for a reaction, thats the only reason to insult a group of people publicly. |

| Yo I hate when everyones opinions are wrong cause they arent the same as mine. I posted an entry that obviously should have been a 10.999999 and you guys only scored it at a 9.99. Thats insane. INSANE. You guys are immature and dummy heads, and im taking my camera and my images and going over someone elses website to post them, and you will never get to enjoy my work again! |
