And good job to SaraR, SandyP, and hihosilver, plus the rest of you getting 6+ scores. :)
I've had an amazing run - the last 8 votes have averaged 8.875 and raised my score 0.2!

The only sad thing is that if it holds, it'll push my daughter off my top 5. I'll just have to take even better pictures of my girls. :)

| I just had a run of 6's over the past few weeks and bumped a picture of my daughter off my front page. She recently asked me why I took it down. Not happy that she was replaced with a flower in a saki bottle. I doubt I will ever get her on there again because each time i enter a photo of my kids the score gets worse. |

Gosh...I feel like such a terrible parent. I've never been able to get either one of my daughters in my Top 5. My youngest came in at 7th on my list...
Now I'm sad...Shame on me...:-(
Well, I'm fairly certain they will be entirely consolable with a brand new iPod (so they'll stop using mine and I'll have music freedom from Barbie iTunes at last...hehe).
It wonderful to see so many people happy with their scores...HOORAY! I can't wait to see all the results...and it's only Monday! ::sigh:: |

Yep, thanks. I keep meaning to go through and pull out some of my personal favorites, but never use my time that way ...
And hihosilver, it was a freakish, lucky shot. My next-best score on a shot of either daughter is something like my 35th-best.

Not outstanding, but pleased with my score, as it is slowing increasing to a solid score for me. This is really great, as I haven't entered a challengwe for nearly four months, due to all my hassels....
By the way I think you,  hihosilver may be on the front page the way you are going..... Well done ..... I won't blow the stack of cards over either, as your score looks dam good and solid to me....

I still don't know what I did! I just went out and started shooting. My original plan was the close up of the cactus, which wasnt too shabby, but my current submission seemed more of a cliche (and we all know those get ruefully rewarded around here) so I went with it. Kind of dissapointing when you compare the time this shot took and the effort all my low scoring entries took.

| Some good scores, folks! Glad to see they've gone up since the initial voting. Not brave enough to check mine, though. It started out as a 5.000 and moved all the way up to a 5.2 by the time a turned off the score with 19 or 20 votes in. Maybe I'll check at 100 votes.... |
