in my job i've shot film and digital both - i do "publication quality" catalog photography for a museum.

I would be the first to admit I might be doing something wrong, but it's rare for my film shots to come out as sharp and detailed as my digi shots (Fuji S1 Pro with good consumer Nikkor zoom).
