This is a 1991 Honda Beat, I like it more, engine lasts alot longer, its a honda, looks cool, and mid-engine for great weight distribution.

but the driver's wheel is on the wrong side - must be a defective one

Drove a left-hand drive car a few times in Oz.... Nothing like scaring the %^#$ out of the passenger by asking them to tell you if something is coming before pulling out to pass the car in front... :-)

realized it was a stick...that would be so hard to drive i think. Never owned an automatic...always sticks. I can't imagine shifting with opposite hands and feet. I think I would give myself a whiplash!

Feet are the same (thank God - mixing the gas and break would suck), and if you know how to shift with one hand, using the other is surprisingly natural. I found I had no problems at all.

Shift patterns should be the same also with first being upper left. When I was in the UK I had a right hand drive Toyota Corolla.

yup shifting is standard H pattern, clutch and every all the same, only difference is shifting withopposite hand!

Nothing, actually. But when I lived with my parents and drove their car, it was normal north american like, and when I was in Australia, it was normal australian like. So I've driven on both sides.

I don't own a car because they are expensive and even though I have the money, would rather spend it on something else (hmmmm, glass). Plus, I don't contribute to global warming, and since I bicycle everywhere instead, end up being a lot more fit. :-)

living in Vancouver, it's easier not to drive! thats where this car is located actually at some dealership there.

Yeah the gauge cluster is stock. i believe its stock exhaust as well. ill probably change the shift knob eventully, and the steering wheel, im giong to stick a momo in there.

and unfortunatly the zebra seats are stock

@OP, nice looking car for a '91. It'd drive me ape learning how to drive on the right. Shift would be no problem. Haven't owned a auto-matic since 1984.
