Ryan ( digitalpins) and I have just spent the day wandering around shooting stuff. Here he is in "the marsh" ΓΆ€” Note the unusual use of the lens hood on the 10-22mm :-)

Having had the great pleasure of spending time with you Robert I remain convinced he had a truly wonderful time.

I do remember the bridge that Ryan is standing on, and vividly recall being ever so envious of that wide angle lens you had, which I believe was also a 10-22mm.

I do hope Ryan had the great fortune to feast on your gourmet cooking, and provided with the opportunity to learn from the king of landscape photography.

The very best to you my friend.

Damn - I invited any of the DPC gang to visit me in Alaska - free room and food - but no takers yet. Summer is almost over, but the fall colors will be here soon.

Glad to hear you two got to meet Robert. As for the lens hood, I leave mine like that a lot too. Just don't mess with them much.

Price of gas being what it is, and maintenance and all, that ain't no cheaper... The glory days of road trips are long one; I know, I lived them :-( One summer in the early 70's I traveled for the entire summer all around America on a TOTAL budget of $300... Had a blast!

Am I hallucinating or is that the Chatham lighthouse I see? My grandparents lived in Cape Cod after my grandfather retired. My aunt still lives in Chatham. My cousins are all in Boston though.
