It'll never be complete and you know it too. You know you want a 500mm f/4L IS... I just got my first L and I want another already. 17-40mm f/4L is the leader right now with a potential of dumping the 70-200mm f/4L and upgrading to the f/2.8L (non-IS since I can't afford $1700).

you are going to be kicking yourself if you dont get the IS.
i did like a week after i got the 70-200 2.8 non IS :-/

Why do you say that? I've used the non-IS at a GTG in May and I absolutely loved it. I just wish I had the budget to get it right away. The f/4L is great though, I'm not complaining by any means.

I came home for lunch, and shot a few macros around the yard. OMG! LOVIN IT!!

I am JONESING for the 5D Slippy!

I really want the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II but 14,000 (buying off the wife factor)for a camera is a little steep. Why would you ever need 16 megapixels? Because they are there!

What is facebook? Some more peer pressure? What happens when you wave the pipe in an addicts face?

500mm IS? OH YEAH!!

I gotta go, gonna try and schedule an appointment with Satan, and see how much he will give me for my soul. I'd sell my body, but it would take way to long to accumulate that kind of cash!

He would only give me 30 bucks for my soul, so I decided to keep it.

Hmmm...lots of mis-information here.

There won't be a photokina in october - it's held every other year and was held last year. And there is little point to a 2.8 version of it IMO, although is the EF-S verison of the 16-35 2.8 L

The 10-22 is NOT an L lens. None of the EF-S lenses are considered L.

I want a 1D mk3, but that means buying new lenses as it won't take the EF-S ones...so a 40D is most likely, and the savings???

100 2.8 macro, and i heard a rumour of a 18-200 IS...I lust after the 28-300 L but at $2100 I may choose the probably cheaper 18-200.

Now that I have shot with both lenses enough, I am very happy with them. I have no regrets about spending the money.

L-crack is worth it!

My wife has warmed up to them too. ;) I have no regrets about spending that money either. No more couch for me.
