Hi all....just stopped by to say hello. I've been pretty much feeling low about my last two entries, so I haven't entered any challenges in a while. I think I may have one for Still Life, and possibly a decent Free Study this month. I keep flagellating myself in the Free Studies figuring that with volume and consistency, I'll do okay. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The floral side project is awesome! I have found more variations of lilies than I ever could have imagined.
Here's one on my way back out the door....

Karen - I got to your page and clicked on the Vote link and it told me it was an invalid operation lol. I must be banned from JPG! Do I need to register to be a member? Maybe I will look at that option.

I am corrupting you, dang! Thanks - and thanks to you too Jeffrey, off to take a look at yours now. I know Svetlana's on JPG too, if you look at my favorites (on JPG) you'll see her stuff on the first page, and you can follow the trail to her profile there.
How many other Suckers are on jpg? [irony intended, I guess - since I've never cracked the code for what jpg likes, either!] |

oh, ok, I thought it was the page you couldn't get to. Yes, in order to vote or favorite, you need to register as a member. |

FWIW, it's not cheating at JPG to vote for whoever you want. Their setup is very different - it's not a rating scheme, just yes or no that you think the picture is a good example of the theme.
Anonymity isn't part of it at all - they put the photographer's name and description right on the voting page.

I just saw this! This is what I posted today. I've never seen them bloom upside down like this before. |
These look like Tiger Lilies to me. They bloom face down. The plants are quite tall, and look nice planted above a retaining wall, so you can look up at their faces. |
