I said I THOUGHT about it. I didn't say I did. I don't see what the point in random checks would be unless the picture makes it into the top 10% or so.

The pageant shot has a cut off hand AND elbow. Think you might get dinged for that.

Yeah, but look at those eyes. I think that makes up for it. Besides, when I shot the picture, I wasn't caring about her elbow or hand, it was her face.

Nor did I say that you DID do it. :) Probably best to leave that entire thought process alone.

As for dinging...hmmm. The 'Cut off hand' would get a ding and a comment. The composition on that would be much stronger IMO if you cropped in from the left and up from the bottom. The 'Evil shadow' has an item I find more distracting than the shadow, and that's the darkness of the background and the way her hair blends in in some places. The 'pageant' shot is nice, although I find myself rotating my head to look at it...might be stronger with a 90 degree rotation.

A great portrait takes more than gorgeous eyes IMO.

They still have sense of touch....

Whaddya mean evil, Leroy? The only thing I did to that pic was remove some acne and use the blur tool on her skin to smooth it out. The eyes are hers. Her mother swears they're not contacts, but I don't know....
