Natural Light Portrait - 242 submissions
paper - 74 submissions

Should I remove my portrait pic and start thinking paper?
large challenges get less votes and less comments then small challenges.
but then again I have a rather good pic for the portrait (should get me at least a 5) and I'm sure that half of the natural light portrait pics will be from people who quickly grabbed their camera and took a shot at what ever baby was laying around.
well I have a request - lets leave the nature babies to have a good snooze and instead go to the near beach, lake, nudist camp, and take natural pics of some good looking girls (and men if thats what your in to).
I know it will make it much easier for me to vote on so many pics.

This is why I entered a portrait in paper challenge. It would be fun to read all DNMC comments.

Judi - why don't you tell him what challenge you are going for so he will have the time to work on that stiff?

I've been a memeber for a year now and its my fault for not spending more time in here with you awesome mentors, but I need assistance. How are you able to tell the number of submissions to a perticular challenge like zxaar did?

Thanks in advance for all your assistance.

U click on the challenges tab and there in the page it says what challenges are running and how many submissions.

Look at the challenge categories on the home page(below the ribbon winning photos), the number of submitted entries is listed under each challenge topic.

You two will both be eating my dust. I'm struggling between three entries into this....er...you know what..I better keep my mouth shut. Last time I talked smack I think i had a 4.3xx or something like that.

Continue one with your regularly scheduled smack talking.

Darn, it's just not gonna be as much fun if Judi isn't here to feel the beating... LOL

Don't worry about pr-validating Judi, I doubt it'll get noticed :-P

I'm feeling kind of ambivalant about my entry. I took one portrait that I love, but my model was being kind of squirmy, and part of her hand is cut off. I'm sure I'd get digned for that in voting. In the next short I took she's holding still, but the sun had just come out from behind the clouds making the light hitting her brighter causing a shaddow that could have also been caused by a flash, and I'm afraid I'll get dinged for that.

Maybe I'll sit this one out.

No, please don't sit it out...now I want to try and find it once voting starts. :P

:P Well, it would be fun to try and find it out of the 300 entries. Maybe I'd ding it, maybe I wouldn't. He-he.

I have another picture I'm going to enter. It will probably end up with a 5 something. It doesn't blow my skirt up, but it was well received on another site. I have a natural light picture I did for a beauty pageant about 2 weeks ago that is stunning. I briefly thought about entering IT because what are the odds it would end up in the top 5 and I'd have to show the EXIF information?

These are the two with my squirmy niece. I defy ANYONE to get my Buttercup to hold still. Cut off hand Evil shaddow

This is the one I thought about cheating with: pageant

Everyone raise their hand who thinks the idea of random EXIF checks isn't a bad idea. :P Actually, I think SC does grab an image or two for random checks already.
