I've got an entry I'm not happy with... and all kinds of blue objects.. but nothing that really speaks to me. I need some inspiration! |

Quick! Snap a self-portrait while you're feeling blue!
Print out a proof sheet of the one's you're considering and "blue-pencil" them, then shoot that.
Set a clock to 12:03, put in front of the monitor displaying the blank submission page, and title it "I Blew It" (sorry!)
If you have a PC, it shouldn't be too hard to get a shot of the "Blue Screen Of Death"
If you have a gas stove, a shot of the flames might work.
PS: See, maybe you're entries aren't so bad after all!

If you knew what mine was, you would probably think yours to be quite sufficient. Don't give up. Autool |

I just submitted my photo... and I feel cheap. I had an idea but not the time to execute it how I wanted it and it didn't work out when I just tried it the "easy" way. So I tried something different. I like the photo and I always wanted to do that kind of thing but I'm not 100% satisfied with it. It looks too simple and lacks "wow" and generally looks cheap. That's why I feel cheap :-/ I already gave in to the idea of not submitting a photo for the first time, but now look at me. I can't do it. Oh well...

i submitted a picture i knew people on here wouldn't like.
of the 100 or so pics i took, none of the ones i actually tried to take for the challenge turned out to my satisfaction. not one. and i didn't even get to take the one i really wanted to.
theres two in particular i wish had turned out. one was an amazing chance find. i went to take some pics of this fountain (it's blue) and by it was the sopping wet birthday card from someone's obviously 5 year old cousin that had been torn in two and thrown in the fountain. it was so sad.
the other was brenna's hand in the fountain jets, with the light behind it. it would have made an awesome photo, but none of them turned out as good as the real thing.
so i submitted one i took on the way to take a picture of a sunset (not for the challenge. it was just pretty) that i accidentally made blue.
ah well.
