We got a couple of new folks in our office here recently. Turns out one of them knows what newsgroups are and how to use them, AND built her own computer, which I find is very cool - I can relate. Then it turns out she talked to our other new guy, who in turn came into my office and said "I hear you're a geek" (which, by the way, is NOT an insult). So we got to talking - turns out he didn't build his computer, but does have a camera (albeit a Nikon). We were talking software packages and I told him he needs to learn to use Photoshop (he said it's too complicated - I said it's not really, once you get started), then I showed him a couple of pics. Then he says "you should look into this website called DPChallenge." Heh! Turns out he's a lurker and has been for awhile (though I don't think he remembers his username).

Small world!

I have heard of this DPChallenge place too. Sounds like a cool place to hang. :)

The world is not a small place, it's just the same people moving in small circles...
