We saw the fireworks at Mt. Rushmore this year. Parking near the Memorial was full by 10 am. We along with a few thousand others parked in Keystone and made the 2-1/2 mile trek up the the hill to the Memorial to watch the fireworks. If you have been to Mt. Rushmore before you know the road out of Keystone I'm talking about. Yes it was HOT!
