I have had a chance to look and work on a few of the images form the disaster wedding on Saturday. Things turned out OK in the end but it sure was scary at the time! Here are a few of my favorites.

Nice work! That's not taking into account the situation with the cameras either.
When stuff starts fail as you're working, it really increases the pucker factor eh? |

Some beautiful shots! Glad you could recover some, any news on the camera(s)? I'd be interested to learn what some of the rituals were (ie: the one with the foot). Looks like it was a beautiful wedding.

| Wow - what a beautiful bride and what wonderful colors! I'd say you did just fine - better than fine! It's a delight to see something other than just white on a bride, too. Lovely! |

Thanks for all the compliments! I won't lie, just like any photographer, I live for compliments on my work :D
Anyhow, as for the rituals. This was a hindu wedding (I am more familiar with sikh weddings) and I believe the one with the bride's foot over the beads represents different blessings in the marriage. There are several of these beads and she steps on them one at a time while the priest reads out the blessings. They are blessings for material things like food, abundance, etc.
