I think DPC needs a statement added to the registration process:

Warning.. this site may be detrimental to your health!

My Inside Looking Out photo has been teetering between a 6.9 and 7.1 since I submitted it. How do you stand it when its so close?!?

I know.. I know.. don't take the voting so seriously.. have fun.. if you like it thats all that matters..

My mind tells me those things but with a current score of 6.909 my heart is screaming SOMEONE GIVE ME A 10 AND PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY!!

Whew I feel better now..

I'm definitely learning how to deal with frustration. I thought my first three submissions should have been rated higher, but I finally adjusted to popular opinion. Then, for the Desolation challenge I submitted a photo that I thought wasn't as good as my three earlier entries, but it is now threatening to become my highest rated photo to date.

I'm glad my score isn't near 7! Whew!

I couldn't sleep the night before I got my first (and only) ribbon. The night before that I dreamt that I got fourth place, horrible nightmare. :)

I could do with some more creativity at the moment. I seem to have fallen asleep.

I don't expect to get a ribbon but seeing the 7 is thrilling!

Ahhh....how DO you deal with it?? I'd give my right arm for the kind of "stress" you're experiencing! No tears being shed for ya here!! :)

Fayepek, my heart bleeds for you with your 7. If you need councelling I can organise it.

Meanwhile while my score sits in the inert, comforting, nightmareless zone of 5.02, I will spare a thought for you... ;)

I was much more nervous about the Future shot than the Matrix shot - logging on this morning was intriguing. That said, after all the gripes about editing, and aware of peoples reactions to it, I was reasonably certain of getting some colour of ribbon. In a more 'normal' challenge, I'd say you'll be on tenterhooks all week Faye: but it'll ahve to be an extraordinary challenge (like Duotones) to get a seven and not a ribbon.
