I currently have a macro installed in my excel 2000 that will find usernames and their scores. I use it to obtain the information needed for the 2007 free study marathon. I forget who sent me the macro xls file (sorry) but I would like to know if anyone knows how to set this macro up a little different. Here is how it works now.
· Sheet 1: I list all usernames
· Sheet 2: I run the macro and it retrieves the usernames and scores.
· Sheet 3: I manually put in order. (This sheet has nothing to do with the macro).
I want to bring back DPStats and continue the Free Study Marathon but the problem I̢۪m having is when users change their username the macro will not recognize it and return their old username with a score as zero.
I would like to know if anyone knows how to change the macro to (on sheet 1) enter the user ID # instead of the username. Since the user ID # never changes it will still find the users score. It would also make it much easier to add users if they would like to join the Free Study Marathon. Also when I start DPStats again it will make it a lot easier.
Note: I view the full results of the challenge and copy source. I paste that in the macro and it pulls out the wanted info.
I would like sheet 2 to display
User_ID# , Username, Challenge Score
If anyone knows how to do this I would be grateful for your help.
Thanks in advance.
Scott

I believe it was sent to me as as dpstats.xls or WPL.xls. I'm not sure because I saved it to use for many other projects such as the wpl and fsm. Basically the macro allowed me to enter the names I wanted the macro to look for on one sheet. On another sheet it would list those names and their scores when I ran the macro. I would like to have one that I could put in the user_ID instead of name and have it to return the username and score. |

What email do you want to send it to. Or would you rather me put it up on my site so you can download it from their? |
