Really, I need to know what´s wrong with this photograph...
Is it out of focus? Is the contrast poor? Is it over or underexposed? Is the lighting too harsh or too soft? Is it the pose? Is it the model?
I´m having an existentialist breakdown with the scores received and my perception of this image...

Biggest problem I see here is the uncomfortable distortion of size, with the arm/hand seeming disproportionally large compared tot he head, to the point of near-grotsequerie. Then there's the lighting, from below and tot he right, which seems unnatural and vaguely "wrong". Finally, the hand is grasping emptiness; there's no definition to the back of the head/hair, which bleeds into the background.
All in all, it's a pleasant enough shot but it has fundamental perceptual flaws as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks!!!! I need to know what's wrong in order to improve!!! :-)
What would you suggest in order to fix the size distortion? Unfortunately I can't change lenses... So I'm not using the wider end, I'm zooming to around 35mm
Lighting I think I can try out some other setups...

Lines flowing towards the elbow and it seems if your subject would be the face. So your attentions id pulled away from the focal point of your photograph. And the hair blends into the background. No definition. |

Nothing much you can do except stand further away and crop in to make the final image. Since you don't have an interchangeable lens, I mean...
