Just wondering what everyone else uses. Or do you just use PS and stitch it together manually.
I made one along time ago but forgot what freeware program I used. Now their seems to be a few standalone programs that are able to do it. Haven't tried any of them as of yet.
Any recommendations? |

Edited to say: Holy cow, their prices sure have gone up! I bought mine about 4 years ago, and I seem to remember paying about $30.00 for it. Perhaps it was more, but it most certainly wasn't what they charge now! Yikes!
Suddenly it doesn't look so good anymore :-(

I have PTGUI and it works very well. I don't have the problem with seams that the Canon software produced. I haven't tried the photomerge of CS3 yet though. That is because I like PTGUI so much. I just wish I used it more.

Thanks everyone for their input. The program I used before you had to put the points that you wanted to line up on the edge of each image and then it would align them. I just tried 2-3 of the programs mentioned and they corrected the colors on each one of them and auto stitched everything with to me is amazing.

I've been using Autostitch for a month or two, and it seems to work pretty well. Here are a few examples -- the sunrise has been pretty heavily edited for color, but the other two had very little adjustment. These were stitched from at least seven images each, the first one (San Francisco) was from a series of handheld shots -- the other two were on a tripod.
