we have a doe and two fawn that come up and visit sometime. they are not too fond of having their picture taken, but they let me snap a couple from inside the house today. the are growing so fast! what lurks in your yard/porch/stoop?

Mostly mosquitoes in my yard with the occasional robin, sparrow, dragonfly and a small raptor was poking around last week. I didn't have the camera out so no id shot taken. It looked like a Kestrel though.
I think it was a Kestrel.

edit: Deer are quite skitterish. You did well to get a few shots.

here's another younger family! this pic is not so great... the dog barked and they all ran off into the woods.

nice shots, so cool to have those right there at your camera's finger tips.
The only thing I have lurking in my backyard, don't exactly "lurk", you know they are there. my backyard view lol |

Cool pics, I wish I had those in my backyard. I did notice that in your orginal pic that the deer on the left is not a doe but I young buck in velvet, very cool to capture them in that stage. nicely done and hope to see some more as they grow. |
