Just a word of warning - there are a lot of these Phishing greeting card emails going around. The ones where you get an email saying somone has left you a greeting card and you have to click on the link or paste into your browser. Be very wary as the majority of them are Phishing emails, so if you click on the link or paste it into your browser and off you go it may run some software that attempts to extract information of your pc etc. If you are unfamilar with this then look at this link

Yes, I got a few of those over the last few days. Ostensibly from 123greetings saying that I have a card from a neighbor. I deleted them as my neighbors don't know my email address and I know that 123greetings tells you the name of the person sending the card... |

Guess that explains the one that I got from hallmark.com then, which I believed was true because it came 3 days after my birthday. The provided link did not work, even when I went directly to hallmark.com, navigated to their e-card pickup area and then entered the greeting card ID.

but... but... but it says it's from an old classmate. ...and he lives in the desert and has never been phishing.
ughhhh - of all heinous crimes against humanity, hacking, spamming and phishing have to be at the top. An easy argument for capital punishment. |
