Greetings all you cool cats!
Ok, so I'm kinda bored, and feeling a little down. A couple threads today have my brain dancing. This one. Cause like, this is the kind of set up I have been dreaming of. But I don't have a whelks chance in a snowstorm of having that kind of cash right now. In fact, my work sux, they have cut our hours nearly in half, and just a couple of days ago, cut part of our pay. things are getting tough, we're struggling and I'm on a serious job hunt. but this is not meant to be my big sob story, just suffice to say, I've made some awful poor choices in life, and I've put myself where I am. But we can sure dig ourselves into some serious holes that are tough to try and crawl out of.
But also, this thread.I think this is a good read for anyone. For one thing, Art ROFLMAO could use a little support and some kind thoughts going his way. But also, in reading through a thread like that, for me at least, it does a couple of things. It's like, encouraging, inspiring, kind of in one way makes you feel good to see so many people showing care and concern for someone, sharing advice and stories from their own personal lives to try and help someone if even a little. And it's a good reminder, that even though we all face some tough situations and challenges in our lives, there is always people somewhere that have it even rougher. I may have some bad junk going on right now, but I am very thankful for the many things that I have been blessed with.
Anyways, on to the fun. We recently changed insurance, so I had to take a couple of pix of our house to put in the insurance files. So, in light of my depressing financial situation :-), I thought maybe it might cheer me a little, and be fun for you digital artists and ps gurus, to give my place a makeover! Money is no object, the sky is the limit. Let me see your vision of how I could 're-model' the old homestead if I were rolling in the proverbial dough :-) Anything goes, I'm totally open. Addons, bay windows, big decks, extra stories, landscaping, new fixtures, new colors, whatever!
So, here are 2 veiws to choose from, bring it on......
PIMP MY HOUSE!!!

I suck at post processing, AND I'm at work where I'm severly limited, but how about from yours to this?
Pretty good just using "paint," huh? |

Great job! Karmat, but you forgot to get a good gardener. He skimped a bit on the landscaping. |

ROFLMAO!!!!
Art, I love it. Unfortunately, Sheila is not too crazy on the theme :-)
Lesley, I really like the wild, whimsical approach. Tucker Rose says it hurts her eyes :-)
Brad, that's pretty cool. Simple, yet makes a bold statement!
thanks guys :-) |

Haha...the editing is horrible, but you get the idea. :) The picture is supposed to be kinda funny.

I started out making it a redneck house with an old car in the yard on the right but then changed my mind. Sorry I couldn't get the rainbow right, it was the best I could find.
