I was digging through my basement last night and stumbled upon 2 camera bags that Im assuming belonged to my deceased great uncle. Upon opening them up, I found an old Kyocera and an even older Pentax camera, both full kits with lens and manuals and everything.
Even cooler is that there is a roll of film in the Pentax that has had some shots fired off it. I think Im going to finish off the roll and get it developed, (if it can still be developed, I figure the film is 30 years old, at least) |

| Cool find, I know my father recently found some old black and white film and had it developed, it was at least that old! |

The same uncle left us with an old Kodak Rainbow Hawk Eye camera, similar to a brownie I believe.

My dad gave me a camera like that. I was searching for film, but I found that it took something called 118 roll film that stopped being product in 1967. Darn, since I wanted to get into larger format photography. Anyone know anything about this and where I can get film? |

No, the Brownie Hawkeye is a little black box, with plastic lenses and viewfinder on top. It takes 620 roll film I think.
Someday I'll actually use mine ;) |

| I know 620 is the same size as 120 or 220 just that the spool is smaller. You have to get 120 film and roll it unto a 620 spool in the dark of course big pain in the ass. 118 however I have no idea about here is a page that explains the history...//www.vintagephoto.tv/autofilm.shtml |
