I have done some hunting through some of the old topics and didn't really find anything useful. I need a bigger camera bag to house all of my stuff. I don't want a backpack as I don't do any climbing. I want something with fairly easy access (hence the no backpack). I have been looking at the Lowepro Nova series because they seem to be about the right style. I will be housing the following and would like a little room for expansion.

Canon Rebel XT with Grip
Canon EF 18-55 (Attached)
Sigma 70-300 APO DG (would like to leave attached sometimes if there is room)
Canon 420EX Flash
Cards
Batteries
Misc. Accessories

I would like there to be enough room that everything is open enough to get at without digging through layers of stuff. I don't want to spend a lot of money but the Lowepro Nova's seem to be in my price range. I am also open to suggestions.

I have the Nova 4 AW and it fits the following:

Canon Rebel XT
Tamron SP 28-75mm f/2.8 with hood reversed (attached)
Canon 50mm f/1.8
Sigma EF500 DG Super flash
Canon 70-200mm f/4L with hood reversed
Cards
Batteries
Camera battery charger
AA battery charger
Wired + Wireless remotes
ND Filter
Lens pen
Rocket blower
Flash mount
Extra Tripod plate
Camera Manual(s)

And I know I can fit a super wide lens in there when I get one. You can probably get by with the Nova 4 AW if you ask me.

I have the Lowepro 5 AW. It's huge! You may want to consider a smaller bag for the gear you listed. Here's a few quick shots of the 5 and what I keep in it (the pics aren't great but you'll get the idea):

Thats an XTi with Sigma 70-200 2.8
XT with kit lens
Sigma flash
300 4
100 macro
85 1.8
35 2
card (usually several)
battery (usually several)
business cards, combs, misc. junk

ETA:
The Nova series are very customizable. They're great bags.

Thanks! I definitly think I will go with the Nova 4. I won't need the Nova 5 for a while.

You should go to a local camera store with your gear and try some of the bags out for size.

I just checked the Future Shop website and they have the Lowepro Nova 4 in stock in Charlottetown. I guess I know where I am going after work. :) Thanks for the great idea!
