well. today was day 1 for me. my alarm clock went off at 5:30am. i turned it off and told myself i was going to just lay there in bed for a second and think about where i would take the first sunrise picture. apparently i dosed off... cus the next thing i knew it was 9:00 and the sun had well risen. ooooops!!

so this challenge starts on july 2nd for me.... today was just a warm up :)

looking forward to seeing your shots!

Sunrise at the moment here doesn't exist... I waited this morning, but it's rainy season here... the sky simply gets brighter through the clouds... might take this tomorrow anyway...

Not sure what to do with the cloudy sunrises that just kinda get brighter, I guess its just a skiped day, any other thoughts?

Anyway the car got fixed so Im back at home and have these to share

Ahhh it was great to be at the beach, now some harder shots back in the suburbs :)

I dont think it would be amiss of me to say how disapointed I was this morning with my efforts, However I guess thats what happens when you dont scope out a place before hand. the location I went to had far too many trees and was in a bit of a gully so no chance for a decent shot, However I saw this on the way home and thought it would do as a consolation.
Yep, its a bowling ally:)

I'm afraid my life at the moment (despite the lack of a clear sky for sunrise) is not going to let me do this challenge for the time being and I'll have to bow out :(. However, I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how you guys are doing.

Dont stress, It may come a time for that to happen to me too. but for now, I'm pushing through.

It was my wifes birthday so and the kids were 'helping' her unwrap the presents (at exactly dawn break) so I took this from our bedroom window.

I have only just seen this thread... What an awesome idea.

I would love to take part, but living where I do, it's very difficult to manage. Sunrise is currently around 4.00 am. Just a bit too early for me at this time of year! Sunset is around 11.00 pm.

I'll be watching this one very closely though.

Thankfor that, I'm looking forward to when the sunrise is a bit earlier, its at 639am at the moment, and its very close to clashing with my work, so its tight some mornings, however 11pm at night is far, far, far too late for a sunset. Man how would you ever get the kids to sleep.

If you cant take some shots I'd love to hear what you think of some of the photos in here.

Ive got to say this is a darn side harder than I thought it would be, one yes the early starts but mainly thinking of diferant photos and places high enough to see the sunrise. I've bought a compas to help find where it will pop up as a few times Ive had it all lined up to find the sun rise in the wrong spot :) Still a few clouds couldnt go astray to add a bit more intrest.
