I shot this yesterday while looking for good Negative Space photos. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice composition and textures. But pardon me. If it wasn't your deliberate intentions then I find the shadows a bit too harsh and the lower thrid darker than what would be pleasing to me

I didnt really shoot it with anything in mind other than the composition. I had my Sunpak 383 on so I thought I'd see what would happen when I used the flash. Since the light is coming from the top (you can't angle the head of the 383 down at all, though I did have a white card bouncing some light down), that's why the bottom part of the image is darker than the top, and the shadows are fairly sharp (which I personally like, but I realize not everyone will :) )

| Thanks for posting it, I like it also. The shadow gives it an "unreal" feel which is nice (and different) from the lighting you'd expect to see with this subject. Good job! |
