I haven't had my usual model lately and got inspired to do some self portriats. I did these with the normal nikon d70 kit lense,

very nice work...

me, i'm not much of a self portrait man, but i do like the sigma 30mm for them. it's just about the right field of view for doing portraits at arms length...

I love it when sexy young ladies turn the camera on themselves. Nice work :-)

Leroy! You know what you have been told! Do you want the electrode treatment again?? Go and take a sunset shot, then relax in a bath of custard. Anymore of these comments and no more Cheese!!

Leroy was only stating out loud what some of us were thinking :) I'd do more self-portraits if the subject matter was more aesthetically appealing, too...

Okay :( It is a stunning portrait of somebody else who isn't you, which is why it is a portrait rather than a self protrait!

To make any of those things interesting would require a sexy young lady.

because my roomate did makeup on her, not me, and holding a camera and 2 reflectors is kind of difficult to do by myself....maybe i will do a double take of that as a self portrait if it will make you happy :)

Of course, I forgot in the US you only use a mere 110V, whereas in UK where we are real men, we use 240V...and boy does that smart!!
