I finally finished voting on the Right Angles challenge. I must say that either I'm seeing things with a new eye, or we, collectively, have gotten better. I have a lot of high scores.
In particular, I noticed that composition was generally very skillfully done.
We still collectively need work on lighting, I feel (including myself!), but these were generally photos of very high callibre this time round.
Pat yourselves on the back! Thanks for some really nice shots this week. |

The photos look a lot better when you comment on them. I see nice things when I take the time to really look at the picture. I don't always have time, though :(

I still think I was right, even with the low scoring challenge. There were a LOT of very good shots for this challenge. And you're right, Jacko, taking the time to really look and judge pays off with not only a recognition of good things, but I find it more enjoyable, too. |
