While working on RAW picture with Photoshop CS3, I imported it without problems and made a few corrections with curves. After resize I saved the picture and uploaded it to web. But it was totally different than in PS.
After trying out, I successfully saved it with 'Save for Web' dialog while preserving the actual colors.
Heres an example of what it looked like after first save:
And here's how its supposed to look like:
This only happens when working with RAW and I cant remember encountering anything like this on PS2.
Now, what I would like to know is whats the matter with this? And how can I save it without Save for Web dialog. |

Color profiles my friend its all in the color profiles. |

Problem solved, praised thee be.
Sounds ridiculous, but after 4 years of Photoshop, I've never had to work with color profiles before this. |

Actually, you are always working with colour profiles in PS. You were just lucky in that your images were taken using the same colour space as was set as the working colour space in PS. ;o)

Exactly! Besides what probly happenend is CS3's default is different then CS2, and CS2 was the same as the camera's default.
