It is a packaged piece of sponge-cake filled with a sweetened "cream" filling legally "proven" to "diminish" one's capacity to act rationally (c.f. State of California vs. Dan White). |

never heard of elephant ears? I didn't think Australia was a third-world country! *ducks*
thanks for the comments on the photos. i actually like the fudge picture best. i really have no idea why.
i can't wait to get back to the fair this week. if you can get over the fact that it's totally corny (yeah, I live in Indiana but I'm still a city boy), it's actually a lot of fun and FULL of things to shoot. |

And depending on which part of Australia you come from, they do some pretty disgusting things with their meat pies.
In Adelaide they make a delicasy called a "Pie Floater" - that's a meat pie floating in pea soup.
I actually managed to find a photo on the internet of it (not my photo), which gives you some idea of how tasty they look - LOL

Well I like pea soup and I think I'd like those pies, but that IS a rather unappetizing presentation. Better focus and a celadon bowl would probably improve the "taste" noticably. |
