NOTE: This is about the Canon Powershot A630, not the K10
Ive been looking at the pixel quality of some of these shots i did in DC. Some of them look bad at 100% i always have the camera shoot at a high level of sharpening.
Since i shoot to edit most of the time is it smarter to turn the sharpening down all the way or will this make the pixel quality worse after the camera makes a jpeg of the image?

| In general, don't allow the camera to do the work for you. You can always sharpen more yourself after the fact. |

leave it at the lowest (sharpening wise) usually does the trick. if you're using the image for web use, or small prints, it doesn't really make a difference after down-sizing.

| Well the other advantage for me is instead of 400-500 photos on a card itll be more like 1200-1600 shots. |
