Well, I broke down and entered the Burst of Color challenge. It's a true TS entry.......which means I should get killed in score but it's such a decidedly challenge-meeting entry, and I know y'all are gonna have a field day with it later. I haven't entered anything in weeks 'cause I just lost some of my enthusiasm somewhere for the grind of the challenges. I'll come up with something for the Free Stduy 'cause I'm in the marathon, but I've all but given up on getting any decent scores in the FS. I'm hoping that sticking it out with consistency will help do the trick.

I look forward to bombing the Where's Waldo challenge...

Backsides are up in the Challenge Results Thread. Big congrats to Melethia for her yellow ribbon and personal best, and to all of the others who did well in this one.

Trust me - I will beat you on that. Not intentionally.

Those baby birds do still crack me up, but I've been trying to get rid of them in my top spot for SO long. :-)

I am so proud of you Deb, and the image that got the ribbon is just awesome.....

woohoo deb! well done indeed! congratulations. and, of course, a lovely image to boot.

i'm at 6.8 so far in waldo, which is nice, but a bit surprising. and a favourite. and a wish list!

sorry i've been absent of late. the big black monster had me fast for a while, but i'm coming out of it, and am beginning to feel human again. ah well, i can see the light again.

Way to go, Deb!!!! You're kinda the TS Ribbon Hog! LOL!!!

Hey, got a question......I was out in the D.C. GTG, and the conversation turned to equipment, surprise, and I am just curious as to why I would need a better body than the D70s if I get this kind of detail.

I mean, you can see the spiderweb and the tiny little hairs on the stem of the flower......and I get vivid detail on pretty much all the stuff I shoot. So if I'm not looking for frames per second, what's the advantage of a $2500 body?

Nice to hear you're feeling better, Christian - the place just isn't the same without you around. And nice going on Waldo! I'm hoping to hold a 5 on that one. :-)

If you even acknowledge the existence of light then the black monster is backing off. :) We are all sorry when you're absent. Hi.

Glad you're feeling better, and coming back with such a bang. Hope your score holds. It seems like voters are beginning to appreciate TS shots.

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm going to be away for a little over a week starting in a couple days. I am visiting home (Richmond, Virginia) and hope to have at least a couple good pictures to share when I come back. :-)

Drum Roll ... I have exciting updates to share.
Over the weekend my husband removed the wheelchair ramp and added a hand railing to the side of the steps.
AND I left the wheelchair at work today and walked out to the car.
Progress TSers ... progress! Grin.
