Here is the segment that was on the news for the Air Guitar competition. It is the first video on the page.

They edited my responses to one word answers...kinda knocked me down a few clicks in the IQ department...but how much can you have to start with when you play an instrument that isn't even there.

Very cool, Clint!
Just a funny side story about the Knack... I actually met their guitar player at a wedding one time!
I used to DJ weddings, and I was playing for one WAY out in the middle of nowhere in north-central Pennsylvania (I believe it was in Coudersport). I didn't often play My Sharona, but just by chance I happened to play it at this wedding.
This guy came up to me and asked who had requested the song... and I told him that nobody requested it, I just happened to play it. He went on to tell me that he played guitar on that song, which I didn't initially believe, but after doing some more digging, I found that he was serious!
He signed my record (remember those things... they played on "turntables"), and I never was able to read it well enough to tell what his name is :) |

| Way cool dude!! Love the barefeet. And though they implied changing the gels color answer was no.... I saw that it was red gels in the practice so did they honor your request? |

Can't wait to see the performance.
I think your interviewer was auditioning for The Colbert Report.
One suggestion: You might want to wear your seatbelt while playing air guitar and driving. Just think of it as the guitar strap;^)
