I say you can't leave your front porch. So you would have to wait for the most opportune moment before releasing the shutter.

As far as front porch goes, remember we have some really rural dwellers here. This is from my front porch this past winter (and I'm not as rural as some.

Overall, I like the idea. We've done something similar in the past, but I don't remember the exact name of the challenge -- Where you Live, or something like that.

I too live in a pretty rural area, about 60 miles south of Albuquerque. The view from our front porch isn't quite so nice as Karma's, but we have nice skies!

This is one of my favorite abandoned buildings in the neighborhood

Your photographs are simply stunning!! I really hope to one day be that good with landscape.
