All I can say is this after my lunch with Pentax...Who ever said that Pentax was bound to use the same sensor as Nikon or Sony;)

Ah...Life is full of surprises. Better later than not at all.:)

Does your post imply that Pentax is in R&D with their own manufactured sensor?

No more third party purchases?

Did they treat you to a nice lunch in exchange for you making us even more excited about what they're going to bring out later this year?

Any plans for a high end fixed focal length camera? Because I'm probably pulling the trigger on a Ricoh GR-D as soon as I have the money, I'm getting pretty sick of film. But if there's going to be more competition in that niche I might be able to wait.

I am not going to be drawn again by benjikan as it still smarts from last time. So, gives us a hint, or I am going back to sleep.
