Is LuciusArt allowed in Advanced Editing? I looked but I couldnt really tell, it would be applied to the entire photo

Yes, it should be, as long as the choice of filter does not create a "new major element", like flare.

Can you be more specific: which LucisArt filter were you planning to use?
(You can also send the pre- and post filtered versions attached to a ticket for a site council review, but you need to give us sufficient time before the challenge).

I love the effects. You could always create an image using it, then place it over the original one and adjust the opacity. I do that with Virtual Photographer filters and Flaming Pear's and it works great.
