as some may know ursula and I recently went to Grand Forks BC for a wildlife safari. I had a great time and was very nice to meet Ursula. Here are a couple shots of her been meaning to post. The first is not so sharp, but I know she wants all the canon users to see she has converted : )...to canon that is.
Her shots are very good, hard to believe it was her first atempt at wildlife.

Check out her images and here are a couple of her : )

sorry they took me so long to post Ursula....and I see you saw one already : )

Yeah, well, hi Lynn! :)

Converted to Canon is a bit strong I'd say, but .... if I could afford it, I certainly would get that lens you let me use for 4 days! What a beauty! And since the lens goes with Canon cameras, I guess I would have to get a camera to go with it.

I like my Nikon though.

Maybe some day, when I become famous and rich (yeah, sure :))) I'll have one of each.

We need to see more of your photos!

Yup one awful lens. Give it to me and I'll make sure it gets tossed in the trash.

Yeah, the thing don't look all that cool, but it's fast and sharp! Wow. And heavy!

that lens is beautiful : )
and it looks good on you : )

but it IS heavy..I hope that you did not have a neck.head.back ache when you got home I usually do after a few days of shooting with it

your shots came out very well, I have submitted mine for stock and do not have them on my computer anymore.

Thats a 100-400? And you think its heavy? hmmm I wonder what you would think about using the Sigma 120-300 F2.8 at a hefty 6 pounds :-)

MattO

PS I was really hoping Ursula had come over to Canon, that L lens looks sexy around her neck!

I was thinking something along those lines, but less politically correct, LOL!

Geeez, if Ursula went Canon, I'd be in a pickle.

Great loss for the team and I'd might have to follow suit.

The 500m 4f ...or The Doctornick lens as I call it is super sweet.

Nah, I'm not going Canon - after all, it's not the camera, it's the photographer :)

BTW, in my portfolio of images from the GF Safari, all but two are Canon made (the other two are Nikon made). Wonder if anyone can tell the difference?

Ursula, the obvious solution is for you to have both. That way the folks in both camps can say "But Ursula uses a Canon/Nikon so it must be good!" The Pentax folks might feel a bit left out, though.

To use a little bit of British vernacular - I don't bloody care if the shots were on a Canon, Nikon or a Barbie special - they are well good!

Great set of pictures, Ursula.
