How do I go about blending 2 images together when the light wasn't exactly the same for both? Here is what I'm working on....

First, try to get the 2 images as close as you can in brightness and colours. I use PSP, so I'm not sure about PS, but PSP has a tool to match colours, so you can select the colours of the same point on the 2 images, and it will auto adjust HSL to match them.
Once you have the images close, you can do what you have been doing, but set the brush hardness as low as it will go, and put the opacity down. Then you can blend the sections more smoothly. It also helps to make the brush as big as practical for your image, so it's easier to get a smooth transition.

If you want, send me the originals and I'll see if PS3 does a better job at it. |
