so I just got the confirmation that on sunday night, luman imagery (that is our studio) will be shooting pictures of Sanctus Real! they are a huge band, and one of the biggest labels out there! We got the ok from the label and the venue.
maybe I'm just over dramtic but I think that is super sweet!

Congratulations. That is so sweet to hear. I am in the middle of shooting two touring groups. One of them performs in the Opera House (although that is not where I am covering them)...they were an absolute blast. And while the images were originally for billboards for the area...the actual cast have now spoken to us wanting to use the images. I am to do another performing group today. So I can fully understand the enormity of what you are feeling and want to let you know to enjoy the feeling and trust yourself and run with it. But most importantly...enjoy it.

Brickwallers
This is probably the best and funniest site on what NOT to do when shooting bands. It used to be exclusively about "brick wall" background shots, known as The Brick Wallers but has since expanded.
The comments and images are a hoot. A must see, for anyone taking band shots, if not for it's educational value but for the laughs alone.
