And I have a feeling that the counter has stopped counting now the site is serving a cached page.

Edit: that that? not not good English.

It's a huge conspiracy.... I didn't enter the member challenge and first they delay Transitions for a whole day and NOW the site is acting querky!!! Langdon just doesn't want me to have my update button!!!

Langdon forgot to feed yet another hamster. Sadly it passed away today. He has since replaced it, but we are trying to talk him into upgrading to a rat.

If I view this photograph it goes to the photopage but says, "loaded from temporary cache (57,341 bytes)". Plus it says I'm not logged in, but I am.
?????

The other pictures are normal.

Can we block such sites like Digg.com from us?

from that link:

Otto: >>>"BTW - shouldn't a website called "dpchallenge.com" be tagged NSFW?"

I honestly don't want to know what you think "DP" stands for.

makubex: @ roosterjm2k2
DP also = Double Penetration...

Better safe than sorry.

Langdon must have it linked/redirected to a cache version to ease the server burden here.

Why? Sure it's a bandwidth hog, but it's also good publicity for the site and for the photographers here.

It is annoying to be a paying member here and not be able to access the site because someplace like Digg is hogging all the bandwidth, so I understand where Hot_Pixel is coming from. On the other hand, Langdon seems really good about getting a cache page up quickly, which lessens the impact.

Yea, as soon as he/they/we figure out what is causing it, things can be done.

As far as blocking them altogether, I dunno, at least it drives new people to the site.

Because an update button addict like Lee and I are having withdrawls.

Looks like some DPC'r gave them a poke there at the end. Any guesses on who that was? Hmmm... (and no, it wasn't me). :)

Not too hard to figure out who roxroxdigg is especially from the icon pic they use.
