For non-paying users of the site the scores update every hour at 10 past the hour.

Those posting are using their update button (paid membership perk) to obtain up to the second updates.

Hang in there. Just a couple of minutes until your first update.

I had high hopes for mine, and if I stay above a 6 I'll be very happy. But only time will tell, as there is a LOT of time for my vote to go south! Hang in there, score!

I counted 295 pics with the word pure in their title (out of 394 submittions).
but how many of the pics convey purity (if you take away the title)? that needs to be answered.

Pure is a word that rarely comes to my mind when viewing photos. Any photos. Who cares if pure is in the title? People around here are getting too nit-picky. Purity is in the eye of the beholder, just as beauty, justice, temperance, truth, and any other concept you can think of. Transitions is the same way. Assume the photographer had an idea of what they wanted to convey. If they came close, score accordingly. If they hit the nail on the head, in your view, score them better.

I believe all the images convey purity in one form or another. I may not agree with the portrayal but I think, when voting concepts, you have to give the benefit of the doubt. Its not like they are entering a monkey in a dog contest. Well, hopefully.... :)
