i really hope it's not anything really tough...and do you think it will be calculated by votes only until 12:00am rollover? i'm sure there will be some griping that statistically it could have changed :P

very odd we haven't heard an explaination yet...not griping at all, but usually things are explained fairly quickly. hope all is ok

It's quite simple really.
Slippy is sleeping and no one will break the glass to get the emergency router out.

Anyone have a rock?

Hands Brad the Diamond tip scribe, just cut around the glass and then the alarm wont go off and skippy wont wake up :)

You might not be griping, but I am. This just isn't acceptable; the forums are up, the site is running, some word (even very short word) on what is going on is appropriate. This isn't rocket science, and it isn't life or death, but enough people care (and care enough to spend money each year) that it ought to be properly and timely explained.

And it hasn't been.

Well for once, this whole site has been in a free-for-all fun party, with no grumpiness, no worries about anything, no concerns for trolls or scores or votes, just a "Let your hair down and have fun" sort of day. Almost like this should happen more often and blow the nasty dust off the place.
