Can any administrator/rulemaker (or anyone who is sure) tell me if inverting image in Photoshop (Image/Adjustments/Invert) is considered legal and OK for a challenge.

Also, is it legal to convet an image to grey scale and then back to RGB for desaturating effect done on the whole image?
