anybody else have this problem?
my alien bees only flash in low light situations (inside, cloudy day, or dusk)
afternoon sunshine kills the sync on a multiple light situation i guess? |

I haven't had that problem myself, but bright sun can be tough on optical slave sensors. You could probably just shade the back of the light somehow. (An index card and a piece of tape should do the trick) |

So don't depend on the optical slaves. Use sync cords or radio triggers.

Mount the transmitter on the hot shoe like any other sync cable. Recievers hook to the strobes or remote flashes like any other sync cable. Theres just air between them now! |

You can use cords to sync multiple lights. Get a splitter -

Or adapt your cords to household plugs and use a standard outlet splitter -
