When you get a chance I think it would be cool to see a few of the Superman shots around the city.
Keep up the good work. |

I'll be happy to sit for you if you come to NYC. :-)
Great series. Keep up the wonderful work. You really have access to some wonderful models, too -- fitness champs, Miss Iceland... can't wait to see more.

Week 22 was fun, here it is :) Some of you may recognize the model and outfit from my "Double Take" entry, shot in the same session.
Citymars: Sure, I´ll take your photo :)
Shanskware: Sure, buy us a plane ticket and we´ll be right over, her to do makeup and I´ll stylize ;)

Bro this would have finished top 5 in Natural Light, No questions asked, I loved the one you took for the challenge like I said, but this just says natural light in the thumbnail. If this didn't finish top 5 than DPC don't no bo diddly.... :P

Heya
So what kind of post processing softwares are you using?
Anything specifically for portraits photos?
I just bought this new software, and so far its proving to be the next step in perfecting my portraits. But i was just wondering what the pros are using these days?
Have a good one. |

I'm not a pro, but Adobe Photoshop is pretty much the standard. |

Here is week 30 finally, have been way too busy these days to post. Probably won´t update right away with the next couple of weeks as I will probably save the next weeks for the August free study, like I said, been busy :)
As to answer jessy_pesce´s question, I am not a pro either but Adobe Photoshop is what most professionals use, some prefer other programs like Paint Shop Pro or Gimp, there are a LOT of software available but photoshop in the best of my knowledge is the most often used. |

Thanx for that and the comments :)
Here is week 31, will not use it for the free study cause I think it´s way too private for that, I kind of don´t want it rated since she´s a friend. |

Larus as usual the pictures are amazing - I have been looking at your tech info and realize you shoot almost always at 1.8 or f2 - I have been doing the odd pic like that - Do you find quite a few come out not too sharp - I sometimes have a problem getting the eyes sharp - Do you use AF or M - I try and do it M but still suffer sometimes......Maybe I am just getting old! I miss the muted colours from the UK when I see your work - It's nice here in LA in the sun but the lighting can get really boring.
Keep up the good work mate - Your images are beautiful. |
