Here is info on a Digital Art Contest I received in one of the groups I belong to::::

2004 International Digital Art Awards - Call for Artwork


You are invited to submit artwork for the 2004 IDAA - early registration is encouraged.


Important Notice:


1. Preparation of high resolution files - Do not put titles or names/signatures on your images.


2. We have received some entries missing artist's details - Please include an artist's statement (include where you are from), email address, URL etc.


3. All correspondence will be sent via email not snail.


4. If sending images on CD media (preferred) - please burn CD in hybrid mode. We are a MAC based organization although we do have Windows if need be.


Categories include all work relating to digital still and new media styles - entry details online at //www.internationaldigitalart.com/IDAA/idaafront.html


Re New Media - we are also looking for Video art presented as QuickTime movies - up to 5 minutes maximum duration.


PRIZE LIST INCLUDES:
3 digital cameras from Minolta (see online),
Software from BEST COLOR and CANTO
IDAA hard Copy exhibition(s)
DESKTOP magazine subscriptions
IDAA feature published in Desktop Magazine
World's best Toffee from Terry's toffee

In short all you need do is send 3 high res images on CD to:

Melbourne Australia

Include artists bio, titles and descriptions as a word doc.
High res files as: Tiff, PSD or JPEG
Resolution: 300 pixels per inch (some call this 300dpi)
Physical Size: up to 24" wide.
